The sheets published here are the controlled version — they carry a review date and are updated whenever a specification, standard or regulation changes, so they are the ones to work from at the point of use.

Each page carries a 'last reviewed' date. Sheets are reviewed on a regular cycle and whenever a specification, standard or regulation changes.

Do you have an SDS for flashback arrestors or regulators?

No, and none is required. A safety data sheet describes a chemical substance or mixture. Equipment is an article and falls outside the scope of GHS safety data sheets. What you need is the technical datasheet and declaration of conformity — see our flashback arrestors page for the full explanation.

Cylinder colour

Colours follow IS 4379:1981, and the swatch shows the ground colour with its neck band. Colour is a distance cue, never the identification — the stamped marking on the shoulder is what counts.

Oxygen and carbon dioxide are both black. The white neck band is the only thing separating them on the paintwork.
